Security operations software
ROGR
Plans security patrols around repeat inspections, travel and staffing limits, with manager planning and a mobile driver app.
Route plans that account for repeat checks, travel and shift capacity, with reasons when a guard cannot meet the requirements.

My contribution
I built the scheduling engine, capacity and route checks, and the manager and driver web workflows.
- Rule-based patrol scheduling with repeat inspections and timing windows
- Capacity checks and validated one- or multi-guard plans
- Manager review and route comparison
- Mobile driver PWA for routes and inspection progress
The result
A patrol-planning prototype with manager review and a mobile driver app.
Engagement
Route-planning software POC
The problem
A patrol is more than a shortest route: repeat inspections must fit their time windows after travel and inspection time, while the full workload must stay within each guard's shift.
How it was approached
- Represent each site's repeat checks, inspection duration, timing windows and active shifts as explicit rules.
- Check whether a guard has enough shift capacity before searching for a route.
- Generate and validate routes against travel, breaks, inspection rules and shift boundaries.
- Show the resulting route and inspection state in a mobile driver workflow.
How far up the stack the work reached
The local demo carries sample patrol plans through manager review into a mobile driver route.
Patrol operation
Guards, shifts, sites and inspection obligations.
Rules
Repeat checks, timing windows, dwell times and shift constraints.
Planning
Capacity checks, route generation and independent validation.
Manager review
Route comparison and guard allocation in the planning POC.
Driver
Mobile route, next stop and inspection progress.
What was built
Patrol scheduling engine
Fit required checks into real shift constraints.
- Repeated site inspections with minimum and maximum intervals
- Travel, inspection duration, downtime and shift boundaries
- Feasible, infeasible or unresolved results with compliance evidence
Manager planning POC
Review workload and guard routes before dispatch.
- Structured patrol inputs and route generation
- One-guard capacity assessment and multi-guard route comparison
- Route details managers can inspect against the source rules
Driver PWA
Keep the current stop and shift sequence clear on a phone.
- Map with active, completed and upcoming route legs
- Travel, arrival, inspection and completion states
- Installable mobile interface with an offline fallback
What changed
Repeat checks
Scheduled inside their time windows
The route engine accounts for each location's required visits, timing rules, inspection duration and travel.
Capacity first
Overloaded shifts are identified
An optimistic lower-bound calculation can prove when the workload exceeds one guard's available shift time.
Planning and navigation
Manager and driver prototypes
The manager prototype supports route review; the driver prototype demonstrates the shift and inspection workflow with sample plans.
